In 98% mint stunning condition, we have one of the finest examples of a 1929 Wiemar/Nazi Police “Sneak Luger” that we have seen in 30 years. This Luger is property marked to the Landes Polizei in Frankfurt am Oder. This is a “t” block production example that is matching and has a mint bore. The Luger, and both magazines are matching. The 1933 dated Otto Sindel, Berlin made Prussian State Police Starburst K marked holster is in decent condition. You will note that this early police gun still has the early type wooden bottom magazines. These so called Sneak Lugers were manufactured at Mauser under the radar so to speak as they were still operating under the restrictions of the Treaty of Versailles. There are no makers marks and only the one enigmatic early Mauser factory proof. During WW2 most of these Lugers went straight into the SS Polizei Division and also the Einsatzgruppen operating on the eastern front. This was a treasured vet bought back WW2 war trophy that was very well cared for over the years.
