In 96% very sharp condition, we have a Nazi Occupation FN High Power Pistol. This is one of the “b” block WaA140 proofed, fixed sight variants and would have been manufactured in February of 1944. This comes with a wartime unmarked holster as well. The pistol is all matching with a mint bore and comes with the correct original magazine. By 1943 wartime pressures were being experienced at the FN Plant in Liege; issues with raw materials and rising production goals meant the the pistols were more hastily assembled and the cosmetic polishing was curtailed. This caused a much less refined appearance the but functionality was not impacted.
Getting a High Power in this top notch condition is not an easy thing; those wide grip straps see a lot of finish loss on most examples and the markings are usually very lightly roll marked on which just leaves a faint marking. It is very visually appealing and just about as nice of an example that one could expect to locate.
