If you collect or have even observed Russian Tokarev Pistols in original condition then you know that they almost all saw hard rough use and most top examples are only in about 90% condition. They are scarce in the US and rarely seen. This is probably the most remarkable example that we have ever encountered from both the standpoint of exceptional condition and the intact condition that it still is rigged out with both of the factory original matching mags. The whole rig tells a story and that story is that the holster was modified to German standards and we would surmise that this freshly issued 1941 pistol was captured/surrendered during operation Barbarossa and reissued to some backwater German who lost it to a GI on the Western front who brought it back to the states.
In 97% condition this 1941 TT-33 Tula Made Tokarev pistol is all matching with an excellent bore and is fully rigged out with a German modified holster and both Factory matching mags. Simply the finest example of a TT-33 we have ever dealt with.
