In excellent mint 100% factory original condition we have a stunning and exceptional Springfield Armory December, 1915 production M-1903 U.S. Springfield Rifle. This rifle bears the JSA inspection cartouche of John Sumner Adams. This is an extremely fine looking piece with a mint stock and very clear cartouches. It is almost impossible to find early 1903 Springfields this crisp; they just do not come up for sale that often. This would have been the rifle that was used in the Mexican Punitive expedition and of course one of the first rifles to go “over there” during WWI. If you are looking for an outstanding example of the Iconic US WW1 Service rifle you have just found it.
