In 97% condition, we have a very interesting Mauser Model 1914/34 Mauser Pistol that was Japanese Army officer issued with a well marked Japanese Issued holster and spare mag.…..This one is either on the very last of the Model 1914’s or the very First of what would be known as the Model 1934. The production dates the gun to 1934. With a complete lack of Japanese made small automatic pistols except for the very expensive Baby Nambu almost all Japanese Officers were forced to procure foreign made side arms. The most popular pistols purchased were 1903 Colts. FN Model 1910’s, and Mauser Pistols such as this. Collecting these pistols in a Japanese Context is very popular and adds an exotic dimension to there use in WW2.
