This rifle is mentioned on page 282 of the book “TRAINING RIFLES OF THIRD REICH GERMANY” by Robert Simpson. In excellent condition we have an extremely rare Hitler Youth Organization marked Gustloff-Werke, Wiemar made KKW .22lr Training Rifle still with the very rare original sling. The rifle is completely factory original. it is marked with a burned in stamp on the right side of the butt, “Hilter Jugend Gabiet Franken” this translates to read Hitler Youth Greater Franconia. There are only 4-5 of these rifles known to exist and all are privately held. The actual number of all Hitler Youth marked firearms that survived WW2 are exceedingly few. This is an important and historically significant artifact of the time and certainly would be among the most important long arms of any advanced collection.
