News from the Office:
So we are back from Tulsa and as you can see we have been busy deploying new inventory which will continue unabated this week, with lots of long guns going on as well.
As we have been traveling fairly regularly for the past 5 months or so I just thought I would share with you what post Pandemic road travel is like these days. When you are driving on the highways road construction and being stuck behind traffic wrecks is a given. There is not one trip of any length that we took that we did not sit in traffic at a dead stop for at least most of an hour, the road is just brutal these days. Half the traffic it seems consists of trucks and the roads are jammed with them so that slows things down too. You pull into a McDonalds to get a cup of coffee and try use the bathroom and the lobby is closed because they cant find help, so no bathroom. The help that now works there these days are so worthless that they could not even get a job on a chain gang! When you finally drag yourself into the hotel for the evening you may think you are staying at a Hilton but you might as well be staying at the red roof inn. The service sucks, the rooms are sketchy and there are no amenities. Here is a helpful hint for hotels; try to stay at ones that do a lot of airport business, as they seem to be better staffed and more up to speed and back to normal. To sum up road travel these days, its not the Bataan Death March, but its pretty darn rugged.
Please make an appointment if you are stopping by the office. We are more than happy to pull something for you to look at if you have an interest; we just need to know in advance and don’t mind a visit.
