In 95% very sharp condition, we have a British Army issued 1940 Smith & Wesson made Military & Police Model K-200 Service Revolver in .38 S&W caliber. This is rigged out with a British Army Officer’s Sam Brown Flap Holster and 24 rounds of the correct WWII military loading ammunition with a 176 grain fmj bullet. The pistol is all matching with a mint bore and locks up tight as a tick.
These revolvers are often called Battle of Britain guns as they were purchased at the out break of WWII in 1940 as Britain needed to arm for the war. The K 200 was in production for some time and was often purchased by the British and the Canadians for both police and military service. Our rig here was certainly carried by a Serving British Officer who certainly would have been grateful to have this at his side instead of a nearly useless bobbed hammer Enfield Revolver. This is a fantastic piece of early WWII British side arm.
