In 96% very sharp condition, we have a Nazi Occupation FN High Power Pistol. This is one of the “b” block WaA140 proofed, fixed sight variants and would have been manufactured in May of 1944. The pistol is all matching with a mint bore and comes with the correct original magazine. By 1943 wartime pressures were being experienced at the FN Plant in Liege; issues with raw materials and rising production goals meant the pistols were more hastily assembled and the cosmetic polishing was curtailed which gave them a rough look. This caused a much less refined appearance, but the functionality was not impacted.
Getting a High Power in this top notch condition is not an easy thing; those wide grip straps see a lot of finish loss on most examples and the markings are usually very lightly roll marked on which just leaves a faint marking.
