In 98% MINT CRISP condition, completely matching including BOTH factory original matching numbered magazines, we have a top example of an early high polish commercial grade finish July, 1941 production “e” letter block Walther ac41 coded P.38 Pistol.
This is what collectors call the Second Variation, it is nearly identical to late ac40 production. it is fully rigged out with a gfg 1941 (Carl Heptig, Stuttgart) hardshell holster it was brought back in.
The high polish commercial grade finish was very fragile and did not stand up well to the rigors of war so finding one this nice is a real achievement. This pistol is all matching with an excellent bore. These early matching mag pistols do not last long so if you want it do not waste any time. Absolutely a beautiful and extremely desirable early war P.38 Pistol.
