Certainly the most complete and impressive Webley Automatic pistol that we have had on offer, in 97% condition we have an outstanding example of a First World War British Officer private purchased 1913 Webley & Scott Self Loading .455 Mark I Pistol, fully rigged out with a military flap holster, a spare magazine pouch with two impossible to locate spare magazines, two packets of original .455 auto cartridges and the extremely rare original manual and the 1966 dated John Rigby sales receipts and export orders to the US. This rig is unheard of in terms of completeness, the spare mags are worth in excess of $1,000 alone and the manual and sales receipts are just priceless. This would have been at the time of purchase one of the most advanced combat handguns of the time and it would have been a piece of some extravagance. The British officer who purchased this to get kitted out with certainly wanted the best firearm available for combat conditions. This is a very wonderful very upper crusty Dalton Abbeyesque piece of WW1!
