Description

In an outstanding for it’s age 98% mint crisp condition, we have an extremely rare and never seen this pristine  1908 Bergman Bayard Pistol.  This should not be confused with the rare but more common Danish Military Model 1910 Bergman Bayard, the Model 1908 was the immediate predecessor of that famous pistol.   The model 1908 was the Spanish Military Pistol from 1908 through 1916 and was the first pistol chambered in the 9mm Bayard or Largo caliber.  All later Spanish Service Pistols were chambered in this potent round.

Our example is likely one of the pistols sent to Spain due to the Crown P proof mark on the bottom of the pistol grip.   If you are a serous early automatic pistol collector this certainly needs to be in your collection.
