I would have to say that this is one of the nicest looking No4T Sniper Rifle that I have seen, the wood is exceptionally nice…... In excellent condition, we have a BSA made Holland & Holland built 1944 dated No4T Lee Enfield Sniper Rifle. The rifle completely and correctly matching; The scope and mount are not matching, apparently installed post war but they are sighted in on this rifle! The No 32 Rifle Scope was made by A. Kershaw & Sons Ltd. and is the Mark III version which was the most user friendly to adjust and it is Waterproofed as well. The optics are crystal clear. Bore is mint and the bolt matches as well and the entire rifle is totally matching. As with most No4T sniper rifles the bolt head is gauged at zero. The England mark on the rifle places the import to this country in the 1960’s and more than likely it was in the large number of these rifles brought in by Interarms at the time.
Many years ago this rifle was in my own personal collection and I found it to be highly accurate out to 300 yards. The consignor shot head size balloons at 200 yards with this rifle many times. There is no question as to this being the finest sniper rifle of WW2, and this is probably one of the finest examples that you could locate from a condition and beauty standpoint and accuracy standpoint.
PS….I really don’t expect this to last the day, so if you want it call me quick or just buy it on the site………….
