Description

In antique very nice all matching condition we have a Rare 1894 Erfurt Arsenal made M1883 Reichsrevovler  that is all matching and has an excellent bore as well.  This example is unit marked to the 49th Artillery Regt and was used in this fashion during WWI where these revolvers often served in back line duties.  They were officially replaced by the Luger in 1908 as the primary service handgun, however they all saw heavy use right through 1918.

The Reichsrevovlers had a very long service life right through the end of WWI and many were brought back as trophies.  Certainly, one of the most robust and indestructible revolvers ever made.  Of course, this is an antique pistol and does not require paperwork to order or ship it.
