Sold EXTREMELY RARE & IMPORTANT 1938 WALTHER PP PISTOL, WITH VERY RARE FEATURES, FACTORY NICKEL & DURAL FRAME, EXTREMELY RARE VARIANT!

In 98% mint sharp condition, we have an extremely rare and highly unusual 1938 production Walther PP Pistol that has a lightweight Duraluminum (Dural) Frame and a Factory Bright Nickel Finish.  This would either have been a special order or quite possibly an attempt to improve on the frame treatment on the Dural guns as the anodizing of that era was not perfected.  It is interesting to note that the number 531 in stamped into the right front triggerguard but we don’t know why.  This is an extremely attractive and visually appealing pistol, especially given its lighter weight when compared to the steel framed pistols.  

This is a very unique and highly desirable variant that will be of great interest to the advance Walther collector.  Factory nickel finished Walther Pistols are very scarce, seldom seen and extremely desirable.
