IN A SOLID 97% ALL MATCHNG EXCEPT FOR THE MAGAZINE, WE HAVE A VERY RARE NO DATE VARIANT GERMAN ARMY ISSUED SIMSON LUGER. THE BORE IS EXECELLENT. THE GRIPS ARE SIMSON PROOFED AND NUMBERED TO THE GUN. ALL THE PARTS BEAR THE SIMPSON PROOF. THIS PISTOL WAS PROBABLY MADE AROUND 1929-30. PER THE TERMS OF THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES, SIMSON AND SON WAS THE ONLY COMPANY AUHTORZED TO PRODUCE AND OVERHAUL ARMS FOR THE WIEMAR ERA GERMAN ARMY. THEY STARTED TO MANUFACTURE LUGERS IN 1925 USING EQUIPMENT OBTAINED FROM THE OLD ERFURT ARSENAL.
