Description

In very good plus condition, all matching except for the bolt and probably rebuilt that way, we have an extremely rare Nazi modified Danish Krag M1889/1941 short rifle.  These rifles are in the original Danish 8mm Krag chambering and were used by pro Nazi Danish Forces as well as Nazi troops garrisoned in Denmark.  In late 1944 most of these rifles were sent to Germany to arm the last Ditch Volksturm forces and there are pictures of them being issued and used.  This rifle has a German Depot stamp in the proper location, but it’s not entirely readable as to which exact depot worked on this rifle.

These Nazi commandeered foreign rifles are extremely collectable, and this is one of the rarest ones to find, indeed this is the only one we have ever encountered.
