In 98% exceptionally nice condition we have an extremely rare late production 1934 Mauser K Date P.08 Luger Pistol. This is totally matching to include the factory original matching numbered mag. The bore is excellent as well. Unlike most K Date Lugers we have all seen this is neither a redone gun or a completely beat up example as almost all K Date Lugers are.
This is a very late production example and this variant is identical to the early G Date 1935 production, except that it’s a K Date and just a handful of this variant were manufactured by Mauser. Getting a Luger this early with a matching mag is a real score; you just never find them this intact.
The K Date Luger has always been a major prize for serious Luger collectors, and we rarely ever get one in decent enough condition to take on. It may be quite a while before another decent example comes into the office.
