FRI APR 19, FRENCH WWI ERA Nationale .22LR TRAINING RIFLE, BERTHIER TYPE

In excellent  all matching condition we have a very scarce French WWI era Berthier  Type Single Shot Training Rifle in .22lr.  These are commonly referred to as LaFrancais Rifles or National Rifles.  The bore is in excellent condition and the stock bears a military type stock disc with the makers name.

These rifles were used by military academies and schools to instruct students on the basics of marksmanship with military small arms.  They are rarely seen in the US and this will be of great interest to any WWI or French Martial collector.

This rifle is an extremely cute looking miniature Berthier Service Rifle, it will look great hanging on a wall and it’s just one of those things that a lot of you will have to have
