TUE OCT 8, SOVIET 1941 SVT-40 TOKAREV RIFLE, RARE PODOLSK ARSENAL, IMPORT MARKED, NOT FINNISH SA MARKED, VERY SHARP!

In excellent condition, we have an extremely desirable very rare manufacturer, 1941 Podolsk Arsenal made SVT-40 Tokarev Semi-Auto Rifle.  This rifle is import marked.  The rifle as you would expect is a mismatch, and arsenal overhauled.   The stock still bears the Soviet inspection cartouches and has not been sanded. The Podolsk Factory Arsenal was located on the outskirts of Moscow and made just a few of these rifles before the factory was relocated to the Urals and production was discontinued.  At one time these very rare rifles were considered to be made at the Kovrov Arsenal  but this is now known to be inaccurate.  This rifle is one of the unicorns of WW2 and Soviet weapon collecting and this is a great example to own.  .
