News from the office: We have some more very clean rifles coming in this week out from a local collection plus some nice German Pistols are arriving as well. Probably the best way to describe this is more “boomer” stuff coming out of the woodwork.
Being one of the last of the boomer era that was born I don’t neatly fit into that category but it’s nice to see what the big kids were collecting before my time start to show back up. I grew up in Arlington VA, during the 60’s and 70’s so with all the military families coming and going all I ever heard about was war stories and military guns. People were buying all sorts of surplus guns and we were fortunate that the big surplus importer Interarms had its HQ in Alexandria, which was selling a ton of WWII rifles from all over the world. A lot of what they sold locally was cherry picked and was the best of what was brought in. These rifles are now showing back up and we are happy to get them in.
Please make an appointment if you are stopping by the office. We are more than happy to pull something for you to look at if you have an interest; we just need to know in advance and don’t mind a visit.
