Description
In very sharp condition, we have a top example of a February 1944 Underwood manufactured M1 Carbine. This is from the 3rd block production run and has typical features of this period such as the low wood stock. This is a nice completely untouched carbine, all the blued parts show up well against the parkerized parts as well. This is just a very nice example of one of the more sought after makers of carbines. Underwood was a great innovator in carbine production and made barrel for many other contractors as well. If you are looking for a killer example of a typical flip sight carbine this is a great one to have.
