SOLD ULTRA RARE COLT 1911A1 1942 US NAVY CONTRACT…WB CARTOUCHED……VERY SHARP AND 100% CORRECT

In 97% excellent condition, 100% matching and factory original and correct, we have an exceptionally rare and almost never seen 1942 US Navy contract Colt 1911a1 Pistol that was shipped to the Naval Supply Depot in Sewalls Point, VA on July 24, 1942.  Only around 3900 pistols were sent to the Navy and they were the last Colt 1911A1 pistols shipped directly to the Navy.  Only 1,591 of these pistols went to Norfolk.  The pistol is of course matching and the bore of the original Colt “G” marked barrel is mint.     These WW2 US Navy Colt’s are highly sought after by collectors and rarely ever show up for sale and never in this top condition.  Absolutely the most highly sought after WW2 production Colt.
