Description

In antique fine condition, we have an Imperial Russian M1870 Berdan II infantry Rifle in the 10.75 Russian caliber.  This was the standard service rifle from 1870 until its replacement by the Mosin Nagant in 1891.  These rifles were heavily used in WW1 and were still fielded in WW2 by the Finns.  This example was made at Izhevsk in 1880.  The bore is excellent and the bolt does not match the rifle ( they never do) . It still has the sling which you just never see.  No serious Russian Military collection should be without one of these, they are not commonly encountered and tough to find in any condition.
