SOLD 1902 MAUSER C96 BROOM HANDLE PISTOL…..ORIGINAL MATCHING STOCK….VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD MARKED

In 98% original matching condition, still with the factory original numbered matching stock of exceptional beauty, we have a 7.63m/m  Mauser C96  “Broom handle” pistol. This pistol is marked “VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD NEW-YORK” the famous New York firearms firm, who imported and sold these fine pistols prior to the outbreak of WW1.   This model is referred to by collectors as the Pre War Commercial model and it was likely made in 1902.  This model is known as the Pre-War Small Ring Commercial model.  The pistol is all matching including the stock.  The bore is decent but not mint.  These were very high end pistols and were expensive when they were sold, this pistol is still intact and in exceptional condition.  These VL&D marked pistols are avidly sought after by collectors.
