Description

In 98% mint crisp condition, we have an exceptional and important Imperial German Army Erfurt Arsenal Manufactured 1913 P.08 Luger Pistol.  This pistol is still with BOTH original Factory numbered Magazines and is fully rigged out with a mint crisp Unit marked 1913 dated holster and proofed tool.  Any Luger this early and this complete and this mint is huge find.  The pistol is complete matching and the bore is mint. This is also one of the very first Erfurt Lugers to have the stock lug and the hold open as manufactured.   The pistol is unit marked to an Artillery unit, so it was likely away from the front lines and may have just spent the entire war in an HQ.  It certainly has lived a very charmed life and has been lovingly taken care of for 104 years.  Erfurt Arsenal produced 23000 Lugers in 1913 so they are not at all common.  If you are looking for a Luger that would have seen the opening shots of WW1 in August of 1914 this Luger was around to witness them.
