In 99% mint new in box condition with all the giblets, we have a mint new US Property marked and crossed cannon cartouched Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless .380 auto. This pistol has the M prefix to the serial number and to both of the factory original magazines. The gun is in the Original Colt Factory unmarked, matching numbered box and is exactly as it should be. The Colt letter says June of 1945 shipment and this was likely when it left the factory the second time. This was likely a US Naval Intelligence pistol as it was said to have been purchased back in the 1960’s from a retired Naval Captain who was stationed in the Pentagon during WW2.
These pistols are extremely rare, only 3,113 of these pistols were ever issued by the Goverment and they are rarely ever encountered in this pristine state.
