IN EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION, 100% CORRECT WE HAVE A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A VERY EARLY SEPTEMBER 1942 PRODUCTION I CUT STOCK INLAND  M1 CARBINE THAT WAS JUST OBTAINED OUT OF A VERY OLD COLLECTION.  THIS IS A VERY ATTRACTIVE EXAMPLE WITH BEAUTIUL EARLY WOOD WITH THE I CUT STOCK AND THE EARLY MARKINGS IN THE SLING WELL.  AS YOU CAN IMAGINE AN ORIGINAL GUN THIS EARLY IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO OBTAIN.  MOST OF THEM WERE USED UP DURING THE WAR AND THE FEW THAT SURVIVED WERE ALMOST ALL REWORKED.  THIS EXAMPLE WAS COMBAT USED AND IT DID ITS JOB; THERE ARE 4 SMALL NOTCHES IN THE TOP REAR OF THE BUTT.  THIS IS  MUST HAVE RIFLE FOR THE SERIOUS CARBINE COLLECTOR.
