IN 98% ORIGINAL MINT CRISP CONDITION, WE HAVE A VERY RARE AND HIGHLY UNUSUAL MAUSER FACTORY TOOL ROOM/ EXPERIMENTAL 9m/m LUGER PISTOL THAT WAS LIBERATED FROM THE MAUSER OBERNDORF FACTORY AT THE TIME OF ITS CAPTURE IN EARLY SPRING, 1945. THIS WAS BROUGHT BACK BY A GI NAMED H. SCHIENDER AND HIS NAME IS STAMPED ON THE BACK OF THE HOLSTER AND HIS INITIALS ARE ON THE FRONT OF THE GRIPSTRAP. THE GUN IS UNIQUE, IT IS UNMARKED AND THE ONLY MARKINGS ON IT ARE A “U” ON THE TOGGLE AND THE NUMBER 4. THE FIREARM IS NOT PROOFED IN ANY WAY AND THE ONLY SERIAL . THE LUGER IS MADE OF UN-NUMBERED PARTS AND IS STRAWED AND HOT SALT BLUED. THE GUN WAS BROUGHT BACK IN A 1942 OTTO SINDEL POLICE HOLSTER. THIS IS A VERY RARE EXAMPLE OF A FACTORY TOOL ROOM LUGER. WHILE WE WILL NEVER KNOW EXACTLY WHAT PURPSOSE THIS PISTOL SERVED IT IS A HIGHLY UNUSUAL AND SIGNIFICANT LUGER.
