Description

In excellent all matching condition we have a very rare and never seen Erma Pre DSM34 training rifle.  This particular rifle was the Erma entrant into a competition on who would produce the new training rifle for the Army and the Nazi Paramilitary organizations.  This rifle was not adopted and very few were ever made as Erma produced the DSM34 under license.  Probably less than  a thousand of these rifles were produced, and they almost certainly all ended up with the SA as their are SA unit marked examples that are known.  This rifle was influenced by the Mauser Standard model that was in use at the time, before the adoption of the 98k rifle.  You will notice the very unusual take down disk in the stock to disassemble the bolt.  If you collect military training rifles this is a very scarce specimen.
