In 97% excellent original condition we have a very scarce and highly sought after svw 45 P.38. This is the dual tone variant and consists of a mixture of blue and phosphate finished parts. You will notice that the slide is very mottled in appearance, this is not wear, this is the effect of having contaminants such as oil in the phosphate solution when the slide was finished, this gives a very mottled appearance that one could view as wear, but if you look at the over all sharp condition of the barrel and the frame it becomes apparent that the finish was well applied. The bore is mint and the pistol is all matching as well. The factory original magazine has the correct phosphate finish and the ribbed follower. The svw code was only used for a few months so it is uncommon and seldom encountered. This is a very decent example that anyone would be happy to have in their collection.
