SOLD RARE AND IMPORTANT SS OBERGRUPPENFUHRER GOTTLOB BERGER PRESENTATION WALTHER PP PISTOL!!!

This is a must have piece for the serious Walther collector, there are less than 20 known, the last one I saw was 25 years ago.  In 96% sharp condition, we have an extremely rare piece of WW2 History, a Walther PP Pistol that was a presentation piece by the infamous and notorious SS Obergruppenführer und General der Waffen SS Gottlob Berger.  The Pistol is factory inscribed “In treuer Kameradschaft G Berger“.  These pistols are well known to advanced Walther Collectors as being not ostentatious gifts but usable items.  Berger gifted these to his friends and colleagues as awards for service and important contributions to the SS.  This pistol is fully rigged out and that may offer a clue as to who received it as the holster style is typical of holsters from the Finland area, it may have indeed been gifted to a high ranking officer in one of the SS foreign divisions that he raised during the war.  Gottlob Berger was one of the most notable members of the Waffen SS, he is responsible for the “Dirlewanger Gang” and many other murderous formations of the SS.  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gottlob_Berger
