Description

In 96% very sharp condition we have a very nice example of a Nazi Police Eagle/L marked 1916 dated M1912 Steyr Hahn Pistol.  In 1940-41 around 60,000 Steyr Hahn Model 1912 pistols were reworked and re-chambered for the standard German 9m/m Luger cartridge. They were issued to the German Police and are “Eagle LNazi Police acceptance stamped.  Most of the pistols were WW1 era Austro-Hungarian military pistols that bear production dates and markings from that war, as does this top condition example. This pistol is all matching and has an excellent bore and is much nicer than usually encountered.  These pistols are not at all common and we might get in a couple or three a year. They are an important part of any Nazi Pistol collection, especially since they are in the standard military round.
