Here we have a wonderful example of a WW2 Japanese Army officer issued FN Model 1910 Pistol. The pistol is in 95% nice condition with a mint bore. The gun has the Japanese kanji “Dai” marked Frame and was shipped to Japan in early 1940 by Schroeder, FN’s agent for Japan. These Kanji marked pistols are the most desirable of the Japanese purchased FN pistols and due to the marking there is no question as to its Japanese Military provenance. This comes still fully rigged out with a Japanese holster with hard to find shoulder strap and the spare magazine. Most of the officers in the Japanese Army purchased small European or American .32 autos as side arms due to the fact that there were no really suitable Japanese made pistols of this size at that time. These Japanese marked FN 1910’s are tough to locate and this is one is nicely rigged out exactly as it was carried and brought back as a war trophy from the Pacific Theater. One of the most commonly used of Japanese WW2 officer issued pistols but one you rarely see this complete and awesome looking.
