Description

Sold – In 97% condition, we have a wonderful  and seldom seen fully rigged out German WW1 Imperial proofed 1914 Mauser pistol.  This is known as a Variation 1 and it was probably made in 1917.  It comes with a spare mag and a very well marked and attractive  1917 dated pebble grain leather holster.  You will notice that the imperial acceptance stamp is located in front of the rear sight.  The 1914 Mauser pistol was certainly the most reliable and well known of the small 7.65 caliber pistols that were pressed into service during WWI and would have been commonly used by staff officers.  These Imperial proofed 1914 Mauser are scarce and seldom seen fully rigged out like this.  This is just a great example of a German WWI pistol. Â
