Description

In 92-94% nice condition, we have a fine example of the WWI Austrian Military Issued Model 1912 Steyr Hahn Pistol.  This is military accepted in 1915 so I would assume it’s very early 1916 production before they had the 16 dated proofs made.  This is all matching with an excellent bore.  Chambered for the 9mm Steyr cartridge this was a tad more potent than the 9mm Luger cartridge.  This pistol has no magazine and is loaded from the top either singly or with a stripper clip.  Although the design was a bit archaic the pistols were very reliable and were in till in use by many during WW2.  If you collect WWI era pistols this is a fine example for your collection.
