SOLD, SOVIET WW2 1942 DATED IZHEVSK ARSENAL TT-33 TOKAREV SERVICE PISTOL, NICE! STALINGRAD SPECIAL!

In 95% condition which is like mint crisp for a Tokarev, we have a 1942 Izhevsk Arsenal Manufactured TT-33 Tokarev  Service Pistol.  This is all matching except for the magazine.  The bore is excellent and you may have noticed the wartime expediency wooden grips that were in use at this time.  1942 dated Tokarevs are pretty tough to locate, this was the year that the factory relocated beyond the Urals so there was not a full year of production.  As soon as this pistol was made it when straight into the ferocious hell of brutal combat that was the Russian front in 1942.  This pistol could well have been at Stalingrad and it is a wonderful artifact that survived the maelstrom of war.  This would be a great pistol for any WW2 collector.
