Blue steel beats a Black Friday
Days like this make ourselves and our most valuable clients feel a bit smug and secure in the knowledge that we have a lot of our assets tied up in blued steel; what I like to think of as 20th Century Industrial Art. When stock markets tumble we at least know that we have safes full of items of historical uniqueness that are almost sanctified by the human struggle of good against evil and by the sacrifices made for the betterment of our nation and mankind. What these things represent are more treasured and valued than the fleeting and fragile illusions of the stock market. Tangible assets for Tangible people.
