Description

In mint crisp all matching condition, we have Museum grade example of a Lowe made 7m/m Chilean model 1895 Mauser rifle. This is an early E block Antique Pre98 Rifle; no ffl or c&r is required for purchase.   This has a mint bore, is probably un-fired and is all matching down to even the numbered cleaning rod. The iridescent Blue parts are quite beautiful.    The European walnut stock is quite attractive.  This was one of the earlier Mauser rifles  brought into the country back in the 1950’s or early 1960’s and it is not import marked.  You would look long and hard to find a better example.  This rifle would make a stupendous wall hanger or  shooter, or you could even use it to reenact the famous Chilean/Bolivian Fruit War of 1899.  This is Pre-WW1 German Industrial Artistry at its finest.
