IN 98% ORIGINAL MINT CRISP CONDITION, WE HAVE A VERY NICE FRENCH Mle 1935A PISTOL MADE UNDER NAZI OCCUPATION IN THE “B” BLOCK AND WAFFENAMTED WaA251. THIS PISTOL WAS ADOPTED BY THE FRENCH JUST A FEW YEARS PRIOR TO WWII AND THEY WERE JUST GETTING UNDERWAY WITH THE INITIAL DEPLOYMENT TO THE ARMY WHEN WAR BROKE OUT IN 1939. THEY ARE EXTREMELY WELL MADE AND WERE THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL CHARLES PETTER DESIGN, THEY CAN BE CONSIDERED TO BE THE FATHER OF THE SWISS SiG p210.
THE PISTOL IS ALL MATCHING WITH AN EXCELLENT BORE. THE FINISH IS THE ORIGINAL CORRECT PHOSPHATE WITH A BLACK ENAMEL PAINT COATING. THESE PISTOLS USED A FRENCH LONG .32 CARTRIDGE WHICH WAS ALSO USED IN THE FRENCH SUB MACHINE GUNS OF THE PERIOD. THIS IS ALSO THE SAME CARTRIDGE THAT THE US WW1 PEDERSON DEVICE WAS CHAMBERED IN AS WELL. THIS ROUND IS SOMEWHAT MORE POWERFUL THAN THE .32 AUTO, BUT NOT AS LETHAL AS 9mm LUGER. NEW AMMUNITION FOR THIS PISTOL IS AVAILABLE ON THE WEB FROM STEINEL. WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE ASKING FOR ONE OF THESE SO IF YOU WANT IT PLEASE MOVE FAST ON IT.
