Description

In the year of 1916, Colt produced only 4,214 Model of 1911 US Army Pistols for the US Government, it was the lowest year of production and they are seldom seen in any condition.  Almost all of these pistols when completed were sent to the Commanding Officer at Springfield Armory as was this one on November 4, 1916. This is a  sharp looking pistol, 100% factory original.  Absolutely one of the hardest Colt 1911 pistols to get and rarely seen this nice.  This pistol is in 96-97% condition with a mint bore with very nice grips.
