IN 98% ORIGINAL MINT CRISP CONDITION, WE HAVE A FIXED SIGHT VARIANT CANADIAN ARMY PROOFED, BRITISH ARMY PROOFED JOHN INGLIS MADE MARK 1 ∗ BROWNING HI POWER PISTOL.  THIS PISTOL IS SO CRISP IT STILL HAS THE FACTORY ORIGINAL DECAL REMAINING.  THIS IS AN ALL MATCHING GUN WITH NO IMPORT MARKS AND NO PAINT JUST THE HEAVY GRAY BLACK PHOSPHATE FINISH THAT THEY WERE ORIGINALLY ISSUED WITH.  THE BORE IS EXCELLENT, THE GUN IS LIKELY UN-FIRED.  THIS IS A 3RD CONTRACT PRODUCTION CANADIAN ARMY AND LATER  BRITISH ARMY HI POWER.  THIS PISTOL HAS BOTH CANADIAN C ARROW PROOFS AND BRITISH CROSSED PENDENT PROOFS.  AN EARLY 3RD CONTRACT PISTOL SUCH AS THIS WAS UNDOUBTEDLY USED IN WW2.  THESE VERY DURABLE GUNS WERE MADE IN CANADA FROM PLANS SMUGGLED OUT BEFORE THE NAZIS TOOK OVER BELGIUM BY MR. DIEUDONNE SAIVE FROM THE FN FACTORY IN BELGIUM.  THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE FOR THE COLLECTOR AND THEY ARE ALSO NICE SHOOTERS.  FINDING ONE OF THESE PISTOLS STILL WITH ANY TRACE OF THE VERY FRAGILE AND ALMOST ETHEREAL DECAL IS A REAL SCORE!  THIS IS A MUST HAVE WW2 ERA COMMONWEALTH PISTOL.
