The 119th Field Artillery was probably the second most famous artillery unit of the war, it was a Michigan National Guard Unit and it fought in the battles of the 2nd Marne and the Meuse Argonne. It was one of the most heavily engaged artillery units of the war. The unit was commanded by Colonel Chester B. McCormack and this pistol was directly under his command in the HQ company. This is a premier, private reserve stock Colt.
