SOLD EXCEPTIONAL, GERMAN WWI OFFICER CARRIED, FN MODEL 1900 PISTOL, RARE OFFICER PURCHASE WITH DOUBLE MAG POUCH HOLSTER, MINT CRISP

This one took a lot of time to track down exactly who and what carried this mint crisp stunning rig.  In 98% mint crisp condition we have a stunning 1909 production FN Model 1900 Pistol, Fully rigged out with an extremely rare German commercial/military holster with an unusual double mag pouch, plus two spare magazines.  This is a pristine example of what was likely carried by a senior German Officer during WWI.  Other examples of this holster are and this example provided the final definitive identification.  This rig could have been a war trophy from both wars, we have no information as to it made it’s way across the pond.

This rig is a huge prize for the WWI and FN collector, one that certainly will not hang around long!  

RECENTLY, PRIME EXAMPLES OF FN 1900 PISTOLS HAVE SEEN A HUGE RESURGENCE IN INTEREST AND WE HAVE GOTTEN MANY REQUESTS FOR THEM, ESPECIALLY SINCE ANTHONY VANDERLINDEN’S 3rd EDITION OF FN PISTOLS WAS PUBLISHED. CERTAINLY, ONE OF MY FAVORITE PISTOLS AND ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT  20th CENTURY HANDGUNS IF NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT.
