Sold EXCEPTIONAL VERY SCARCE FINNISH SA MARKED WINTER WAR ISSUED m/96 SWEDISH MAUSER RIFLE……..JUST STUNNING!

Here is the finest Swedish m/96 Rifle we have ever come across.  We have a non-import marked Finnish Army marked (SA) 1922 Carl Gustafs made m/96 Swedish Mauser Service Rifle.  This rifle is in mint barely issued condition, completely matching with nearly all the brilliant bright fire blue on the small parts. The stock disk confirms the new condition of the rifle.   This is as prime of an example of the Legendary Swedish m/96 Mauser rifle that you will ever see ratcheted up even more by the fact that it was shipped to Finland in early 1940 and was issued in the Winter War and in the Continuation War.  Due to the pristene condition this rifle was likely issued to a Finnish Army Coastal Artillery or Anti Aircraft unit or possibly the Finnish Navy, but it was issued and saw service as it has the “Box SA” marking.  These rifles were withdrawn from active service at the end of WW2 and they were sold in 1951 and in 1953, so this rifle dates to that sale as it is not import marked.  This is the finest known example of a Finnish Army issued non-import marked m/96 rifle and it would be an important acquisition for any Finnish or Swedish collector and we are very proud to offer it.  This is one Swedish Rifle actually served in WW2!
