Description

In 96% condition, all matching including the magazine and with an excellent condition bore, we have an exceptionally rare and almost never offered for sale Japanese 1902 Grandpa Nambu pistol.  This is very early production serial number 331 and was manufactured by the Tokyo Artillery Arsenal and is so marked on the top of the receiver with the crest of piled cannonballs.  The Grandpa has always been the most elusive and sought after of the type Nambu pistols, and it is estimated that less then 2,400 were ever even made from 1902-1906.  Obtaining one of these pistols in any condition can be a challenge and one this fine and still with the matching mag is a real prize.  It has always been one of the goals of this firm to bring a very nice example of this pistol into our portfolio in order to offer it to you.  We think that this is a very worthy example for any collector.
