SOLD FASCINATING WELL DOCUMENTED WW2 JEWISH VET BROUGHT BACK WWI MILITARY 1913 SAUER PISTOL…….WONDERFUL STORY!!!!

In 96% condition we have a nice vert brought back German WW1 Military Issue 1913 Sauer Pistol with the 1915 dated and maker marked holster.  The best part about this is that it was brought back by Pfc Edward “Itz” Abramowitz of New York City who personally confiscated it from a Nazi Party Member in Nuremburg German who had carried it in WW1 and had it hidden away.  This is all documented in copies of 4 wonderful letters that he sent home describing his wartime and immediate occupation service.  He recounts in vivid detail how this gun was discovered and confiscated from a Nazi Party member.   These letters are well written and very interesting to read, they need to be researched and published.  The gun is rare and desirable but the story told in those letters is absolutely priceless!!!
