Description

In 95% very sharp condition, with fire blue small parts we have a Scarce 1918 production, German WWI Military Proofed & Prussian Eagle Trigger guard marked Sauer Model 1913 Pistol That is fully rigged out with a scarce 1917 dated and maker marked WWI holster and a spare magazine.  This is certainly one of the more difficult to locate WWI pocket pistols, only 30,000 were military proofed and you just never see them in any kind of nice condition.  Of course this is all matching with a mint bore as well.  The military proof is on the right side of the frame directly to the left of the crown n proofmark.  Prussian Eagle marked Sauers are extremely rare and this really increases the desirability of this pistol.

The Model 1913 Sauer Pistol was hands down the finest quality pocket pistol that the Germans used in WWI.  It was extremely compact and very finely made and most importantly it was extremely reliable.  These pistols were mostly issued to officers not involved directly in combat.  Certainly, an elegant pistol by any standards.
