Description

In 96% very sharp condition we have a very extraordinary relic of WWII France; a scarce French Union 7.65mm (.32 auto) Pistol that is property marked & numbered to the PdeP, the prefecture de Police de Paris.   These pistols were made by Marcel Seytres of St. Eitenne and were an improved “Ruby” type pistol.  They were purchased by the Paris Police and also were approved for emergency military purchase at the outbreak of WWII in 1939.

As you can imagine having an actual French Paris Police marked pistol from the WWII era would make ones imagination run wild.  Was this Pistol used by the Resistance? or did it stay in Service with the Paris Police during the war.  What role did it play in the Liberation of Paris?  If you like clandestine operations in occupied Europe this pistol is a huge big deal. This pistol just screams Is Paris Burning?
