SOLD LATE WAR WALTHER MOD HP HEERES PISTOL P.38, VERY SCARCE, MINT CRISP!

In 98% mint sharp condition, we have a very late 1944 production Walther mod HP (Heeres Pistole) Pistol.  This is all matching and with a mint bore.   The Heeres Pistol was the commercial high grade production version of the P.38 and they are well made and nicely finished.  They are quite rare and seldom seen.  Where as the Mod P.38 was mostly made of rejected parts the Mod HP was always made to a higher pre-war commercial quality standard.

These very rare Walther HP pistols were sold commercially, privately purchased by officers and the many Nazi officials who were stationed in the occupied territories where they might need protection from partisans.  Certainly one of the rarest and most desirable variants of the P.38.
